Lisa Zitomer has seven years of professional experience applying engineering, environmental and financial skills to a broad range of infrastructure projects for clients. She currently is involved in a variety of projects including water, sewer and stormwater cost of service studies, bond feasibility studies, establishment of stormwater utilities, and development of water conservation plans. Prior to her management-consulting career, she worked for a large environmental engineering planning and design firm. Her design engineering experience includes the completion of water and wastewater hydraulic modeling and regional infrastructure planning in various Maryland and Delaware locations. Projects included water and sewer infrastructure design, CSO studies, wastewater demand projections, and recommendations to Waster and Sewer Capital Improvement Programs and Master Plans. She anticipates earning her P.E. certification in the fall of 2007. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. She is a member of AWWA, with active involvement in her local Chesapeake Section’s Customer Service/Community Relations Committee.
